System Requirements

The following are the recommended minimum system requirements to run Gemini. For installations containing larger amounts of users, increase your system resources accordingly.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Quad Core CPU 2.0Ghz (or equivalent)
  • 12GB RAM minimum
  • 20GB HDD of FREE space at 15,000 RPM
  • Windows Server 2019 or above
  • SQL Server 2019 or above - some features of Gemini, such as "As Of" queries, are not available on versions of SQL Server before SQL Server 2016
    • SQL Express editions will work with Gemini, but they are not recommended and are not supported.
  • For Gemini 7.6.0 and above, TLS 1.2 or above is required. The application will not start with a lower version.

    • .Net Framework For Gemini 6.8.1 and above .Net 4.5.2 or above is required. Earlier versions require .Net 4.0.x

    .Net Framework For Gemini 6.9.2 and above .Net 4.7.2 is the minimum required version.

    .Net Framework For Gemini 7.6.0 and above .Net 4.8.0 is the minimum required version.

    Pre-requisite Roles

    Before starting the installation process for Gemini, please check that the following highlighted roles have been installed on your server.

    If you have had to install any of the above features, please re-register ASP.NET by using the following command in the folder specified:
